and Leaders Week-Making friends is what Camp Sunrise
is all about. Join us for the first week of summer, meet old
friends and make some new ones-Learn leadership skills and
join in cooperative games. A great way to kick off another
wonderful year at Camp Sunrise. |
| Week 2 - June 28 - July 2 |
Stars and Stripes week -
The tradition continues as Sunrise celebrates
patriotism with our annual Fourth of July parade. All tribes
will make their own floats and participate in our float contest.
A visit from the local fire department will treat us to that
huge water cannon. |
| Week 3 - July 5 - July 9 |
Sci-Fi Week - You
never know what will happen during Sci-Fi week at Sunrise,
and Alien Landing? Join us to uncover the mystery, and have
a lot of fun too!! Bring your imaginations and enter the world
of science for a fun-packed week!!! |
| Week 4 - July 12 - July 16 |
Jam Week - A
whole week devoted to you favorite music and radio stars.
We'll have our annual "Battle of the Bands" lip
sync competition. I wonder who will be this year's "Sunrise
American Idol?" Our radio station will be ready to rock!! |
| Week 5 - July 19 - July 23 |
Camp Carnival - A
Carnival atmosphere all week long, with a special event on
Thursday, with Midway Games, prizes, cotton candy, clowns,
performers, the moon walk and a rock climbing wall. Special
evening carnival for overnighters. |
| Week 6 - July 26 - July 30 |
Reality Week - Sunrise's
version of reality TV with special events based on your favorite
shows. Survivor games, immunity challenges, a little "Fear
Factor", maybe the "Fab 5" will show or the
tribes might be "Trading Spaces". |
| Week 7 - Aug. 2- Aug. 6 |
Water Week - The
hottest weather is here, and there is no better way to stay
cool than to spend Water Week with us at Sunrise, where the
counselors keep you soaked all week long! Our Giant Water-Gun
Battle is a Sunrise Tradition!!! |
| Week 8 - Aug. 9 - Aug. 13 |
Olympic Week - Our
Camp Olympics are the most inventive games you could imagine!!
There is a little something for everyone's talent, and there's
always a chance to win a ribbon or maybe even a Medal!! Who
will be the winning Tribe? |
| Week 9 - Aug. 16 - Aug. 20 |
Fantasy Week-Goblins
and Ghosts or a Fairy Princess might visit this week as another
Sunrise Mystery unfolds. We may be searching for a "Golden
Ticket" or treated to some other "Haunted Happenings".

Super Week - The
best of the summer comes back for a repeat performance, with
a special event everyday, a double overnight with Summer Stock
Theatre and he annual Horse Show. |
